Welcome

All the cute and the precious have been found. All the kitties and puppies have homes. The candy colored, the eco-friendly, the hipsters of the handmade are all duly covered elsewhere. Here I will find the slightly odd, the darkly beautiful, the elegant and steamy pieces of goodness. I am very particular in my tastes and though I promise you that I will share nothing but the most intriguing of my discoveries, you may not always like them. I must also confess that I have no real artistic nor fashion background to base my finds upon. These are simply discoveries dug up from the depths of etsy or perhaps elsewhere, brushed off and presented for your approval.

Dane Goldbloom

Skulls
I just feel in love with this series of skull paintings so of course you get to see them all!
From the Artist:
I grew up in a very productive and artistic environment. At long as I can remember my father was very involved in the Seattle art community and I have always been inspired by his creative drive in granite sculpture( goldbloomart.com/3/artist.asp?ArtistID=22174&Akey=EGW9FJRW)
Channeling his artistic spirit over the years I've enjoyed creating in general and recently began exploring the mysterious world of oil paint. Previously my artistic ventures have been purely personal but recently I've realized that art if not shared with others is selfish. I've always been fascinated by horror in general and even as a child delightfully enjoyed nightmares. I find inspiration through dark and macabre themed imagery.
