All the cute and the precious have been found. All the kitties and puppies have homes. The candy colored, the eco-friendly, the hipsters of the handmade are all duly covered elsewhere. Here I will find the slightly odd, the darkly beautiful, the elegant and steamy pieces of goodness. I am very particular in my tastes and though I promise you that I will share nothing but the most intriguing of my discoveries, you may not always like them. I must also confess that I have no real artistic nor fashion background to base my finds upon. These are simply discoveries dug up from the depths of etsy or perhaps elsewhere, brushed off and presented for your approval.

My Robot Friends

Are Here to Help...Wait, Enslave, Maybe...They're Here Anyway1. Found Object Robot Sculpture Number 61 - yllas
2. After a Hard Day's Work - industrialfairytale
3. Teabob - Found object robot sculpture assemblage - Adoptabot
4. I have a Special Plan for this World - ettadiem
How interesting it is that something that is inherently void of emotion should inspire so many emotions form us. Fear, adoration, curiosity. I don't know anyone who doesn't feel something about robots. Maybe you find them cute or want to understand how they might work or perhaps you are just scared of the day that they will rise up against us...it's coming my friends, it is coming.

I think the best robot maker around is Dan Jones, aka Tinkerbots. He also makes wonderful rayguns.

I love all of these, and you know we've gotta heart industrialfairytale because she is awesome, but that TeaBob sculpture is my fave. Not only is it incredibly cute, but very well-done, and very unique :)
